PlayVault: Offline Music Player Support

Help for local import, offline playback, and privacy controls.

PlayVault is designed as a local media player for audio and video you import from Files, Wi-Fi transfer, AirDrop, or other on-device sources. This page is the support reference used for App Store review and user troubleshooting.

Importing media

  • Use the Home tab to import files from the Files picker or Wi-Fi transfer.
  • Imported media appears directly in your local library after processing finishes.
  • If an item cannot be imported, confirm the file is playable on iPhone or iPad.

Playback

  • PlayVault plays imported audio and video files locally and supports background audio.
  • Playback controls, queue handling, favorites, and lyrics are available without an account.
  • If playback fails, remove the item and re-import the original file.

Wi-Fi transfer

  • Wi-Fi transfer works only on the same local network.
  • Keep the app open while the transfer session is active.
  • If the browser page does not load, reconnect both devices to the same router and retry.
